The World Around Us Today
This is the monthly photo presentation that I made for my photography club.
As I said, it started as a presentation, then it turned into a project that I’m planning to develop from now to this Summer. I want to document the everyday things that are surrounding us during this pandemic and how we react to them or we deal with them or how we try to avoid them.
I believe many times we “close” our eyes because we don’t want to see. And most of the time, we don’t want to see because we don’t want to think.
A quote of MLK:
“Everything that we see is a shadow cast by that which we do not see.”
I think we have to see our shadows and try to understand what we don’t see.
