THIS IS #ME
Photo Project, 10 images
Where do women rule? Where are they an object? How do women develop their personal relevance?
This photo project serves as a tool to re-frame and express how we see, how we think, and how we understand femininity in today broader society.
We have very important movements, as Black Lives Matter and #metoo, that will make a change in our society. Gender and racial disparities, poverty, unemployment, voting rights, access to better education are still issues today. Women are playing a big role in protesting and fighting for freedom against bigotry, discrimination, segregation and less visible inequities in our society.
Women handle a special connection with the environment that extends beyond skin’s color, age, status, religious or political opinions. They have the ability to love and care and nurture in a way that only they can do. This is something that bonds them together on a level that only women understand.
The scope of this project in progress is to document the women roles in different countries and environments. This work is not a critical assessment, but a documentation to represent and describe different conditions.
